Detroit Travel Company LLC. provides client-only support with extended hours.

For emergencies within 72 hours of departure or while you are traveling, please call 313-403-3088. Our regular client hours are 9AM - 5PM EST Monday - Friday. Saturday is reserved for only event bookings. 

No inquiries will be sent out on the weekend. The preferred method of communication is email, text message, or through the client portal. Clients can also schedule phone consultations. Response time is 1 hour when communicating through email, text, or the client portal. We will contact you if we have any pressing concerns.

Detroit Travel Company LLC. acts as a travel agency only. We sell various travel, recreation, and hospitality related products on behalf of numerous transport and accommodation service providers, including, but not limited to airlines, coach, rail, cruise line operators and hotels, and ourselves. 

Detroit Travel Company LLC. does not own, operate, manage or control these independent suppliers of services and is not liable for their acts or omissions. We have no responsibility for these services, nor do we have the authority to make any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these travel service provider. We only provide reservations of our suite in person. we are only responsible for bookings of our owned property.

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation protection and/or travel accident insurance.

Detroit Travel Company LLC is not an insurance company and has no responsibility for the submission, payment or adjustment of any insurance claims. Any insurance claims that may fall under the relevant travel insurance policy must be submitted to the insurance company identified in the policy. Travel Protection rate is different per vendor and trip. We offer submitting claims and handling sending documents as an additional concierge fee.

All individuals departing from the United States of America must be in possession of a valid passport. Please check that your passport is valid for 6 months or longer than your intended travel time.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. A valid government issued ID is required for travel within the USA, however depending on the State of departure or arrival, a passport may be required instead of a driver’s license.

You will be required to pay a minimum payment or deposit per person when booking depending on the accommodations. The service provider may require further deposits due at arrival. All deposits and payments are non-refundable(unless otherwise indicated. If so, reach out to service provider directly for refund. Final payment is required no less than 45 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated, or use on afterpay. Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking. Detroit Travel Company LLC accepts debit, credit, cash app, apply pay, google Pay, and after pay 

Additional taxes and surcharges that cannot be pre-collected may be charged locally by car rental agencies, hotels or other suppliers. Most properties and vehicle rental/leasing companies require a credit card imprint at check-in. We are also not liable for any changes in flight from the airline or fees that might occur from them.

Detroit Travel Company LLC. is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any travel service provider or of any third party. In addition and without limitation, we are not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or illness, disease, not reading policies and rules, acts of war or civil unrest, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation, or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Changes due to weather that hinder flight schedules or other uncontrollable factors my leave you responsible for additional costs for airfare, transportation, hotel accommodation and meals if the service provider doesn't cover it. Claims can be filed with the service provider directly.

We also DO NOT issue refunds. Detroit Travel Company LLC  can give you a transferrable credit or send you a replacement item if you aren't satisfied with your purchase.  You understand that DUE TO COVID-19 there may be a delay in my delivery.  Also note, all items are preorders. It may take 30 days OR MORE to receive you order.  By placing an order you state:

1. I confirm that I have ordered the correct color and quantity.
2. I understand that if I change my order during processing that it will cause a cancellation or delay in my shipping/receiving.
   
3. I confirm that my shipping and email address is correct.
   
4. I understand that due to COVID-19 that I may or may not have to sign for my package under the discretion of the package handler.
5. I understand that Detroit Travel Company  is not responsible for any missed or rescheduled deliveries.
6. I understand that I will not receive an email response to any question that is already answered on the website. 
7. I understand that Detroit Travel Company  offers a  60  day warranty on all travel accessories not apparel or linen based. 

For any quality-related or manufacturing defect issues within this time frame, an exchange or replacement will be honored. Please open your packages upon receipt.  We are not responsible for how you carry & treat your product.  

All Training Material is owned by Detroit Travel Company LLC. All intellectual property rights including the design, graphics and text of all printed materials and the audio of all webinars, are owned by us. When you are given access to quotes and invoices, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Material for education. No Material may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without Detroit Travel Company LLC prior permission.

Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute on infringement of our intellectual property rights and will result in legal action.
